Like being trapped in a pit, life can be dark, lonely, and hopeless. There are times you may feel overwhelmed by the burdens of this life, and that your pain or rage may swallow you up at any moment. Trauma, depression, and anger are inherently isolating. Feeling like you’re different than everyone else because of your suffering reinforces a belief that no one could possibly understand you. Together, we can learn the best ways for you to share your grief with those closest to you in order to revitalize hope for your life.
Whether you wrestle with PTSD, anger, anxiety, depression, identity, loss, or other, therapy with me is a journey of exploration and experimentation. We will explore your past to help you discover and practice new skills you can utilize to experience more peace. Things can be different. Things can be better. I spent much of my life troubled in many ways, so I am no stranger to grief. I will gladly be a partner in helping you recapture joy and hope in your life.
Therapy helped me want to live again. It’s relentlessly comforting that I can find joy in so many places these days. A motorcycle ride with my wife, a video game with my friends, or a donut with my daughter are finally easy to cherish in the moment.
